While as a Christian, we usually not being aware of this simple truth. That's why most of the times, we Christians ended up in a vicious circle, going around and around in the same hole. So how do we break this chain of slavery? If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9) So basically, we need to make a confession before God. Ask for God's forgiveness, and also strength of the Holy Spirit so that we may be delivered from the bond to the sin.
