(2 Kings 17:17 KJV) Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, everyone who sins is a slave of sin . (John 8:34 NLT) When a human decided to do evil, he actually surrendered himself into slavery. While as a Christian, we usually not being aware of this simple truth. That's why most of the times, we Christians ended up in a vicious circle, going around and around in the same hole. So how do we break this chain of slavery? If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9) So basically, we need to make a confession before God. Ask for God's forgiveness, and also strength of the Holy Spirit so that we may be delivered from the bond to the sin. Confession and repentance is what Jesus taught at Mark 1:15, also...

Why teachable heart? Well, why not? 1 Samuel 15:23a "For rebellion is as the sin of divination, and presumption is as iniquity and idolatry." "Sebab pendurhakaan adalah sama seperti dosa bertenung dan kedegilan adalah sama seperti menyembah berhala dan terafim." The verse showed us that stubborness and presumption equals to idolatry, so we can conclude that God hates stubborness! And we shouldn't keep being stubborn against God.. Teachable heart means how our heart response to the Word of God, and The Parable of The Sower is a good practice of it. From the story, we can evaluate our heart into four levels of quality.
